This is the result of my portrait session with the fabulous makeup artist Anthony Gordon aka The Makeup Man. He is not only a gourgeous man and a beautiful friend but also a kick ass makeup artist!

A dream team of stylist Helena Ekström, makeup artist Anthony Gordon, model Ashley Heller, photoassistant Kevin Landes and me gathered last week in the desert north of LA to shoot the cover story for Sofo summer issue.

I had the great honor to be working on a project with Helena Ekström while she was visting LA.
I also made sure that she got to meet her American stylist soulmate before she went home.

We met up with Ian Miyawaki on a Friday lunch at Swingers, Ian ordered mac and cheese and sweet potato fries with dip as the genuine American he is. He claims he is a fat girl trapped in a small man’s body. In any case, he is just like Helena an amazing stylist and a lovely person.
