About Klara G

After three years in photography school Klara G started off her career at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm during the year of 2000, where she did portraits and posters. After almost two years she felt like trying something different and decided to go freelance. In the last couple of year she has broadened her range of work even more and started to experiment with moving images by making a few stop motion commercials and fashion films for Swedish brands. Klara now lives in California where she mixes beauty, stillife and portrait photography.

Quotes:

“Klara is pioneering the conventions of commercial photography with her alternative approach. She is a diverse artist. Her collection is a melting pot of cultures, objects and people. (…) Aside from rainbows, I have never seen colour used like this. Klara uses colour for its main and arguably sole purpose, to be fun. There is no doubt that her images are genuinely joyous to look at. They are like flames and we are the moths.”

–Schön! Magazine, London

“Her portfolio is quite unique, showing that Klara has a wonderful sense of color and composition. (…) some still life even may seem provocative. Enjoy!”

–Design News Online

–Trendland.net

“If you are asking for the most significant expression of a colorful, romantic and artificial realism within the Scandinavian pop culture, Klara G is the answer (…) Klara G is great with people, she is great with beauty, she is great with still life and she is also a great company for a good hang-out over the Stockholm nightlife.”

    Hi,
I saw a photo in Oprah Mag. It was picture of a head of a white horse and a bare hand with red sleeve. And the hand is petting the horse’s head.
Do you know where is can purchase a copy and the cost?
    Thank you

    Warren
